Continued Short Form is Cont
Continued is the English language word and in English grammar it is called an adjective. The meaning is a break in continuity. It is derived from the English word Continue.
The continued short form is “Cont” which is commonly used. But some other short forms are also used as a replacement of Cont and various locations.
While writing a letter continued short form is “Cont’d….” this format is used at the end of the page when the content of the letter still remains. Cont’d is also used during the script because it is the signal that the character is still talking.
During the Engineering documentations the Continued short form is Contd.
