UPSC stands for Urban Planning Society of China. In the Chinese language, it’s known as 中国城市规划学会. It is the state-level academic organization for urban planners in the country. It was established in 1956 and the main role of this organization is the promote knowledge regarding urban planning in the country. It is also responsible for providing guidelines to governmental agencies and solving urban planning issues. This organization has eleven academic committees and four working committees.
